Roller derby practice during our summer (off season) has been in full-swing. I’m feeling much improvement in my basic skills and confidence with small increases in stamina. I have been putting myself in my captain’s line-of-site to ensure I get to scrimmage throughout the three hours we’re practicing (instead of hiding behind a teammate lol). Tonight’s practice was moving right along. Everyone got tired pretty early because we played sock derby. It takes a lot more effort to run around the track in sock feet and it is just as slick!
