About

My name is Kris Adams. I have been a professional graphic designer under my former business name, Kustom By Kris, since 2003. I am self-taught, which was pretty easy because of the very creative background I come from. I have primarily worked with other businesses creating ads and collateral. Some of my bigger clients included Round Table Pizza, Amtrak, and Togo’s Sandwiches.

I have really enjoyed providing business-to-business services, but my life has changed and so must my business. I decided on May 15, 2011 to stop offering custom graphic design and web development in order to focus on more personal services. I get so much joy out of designing stationery and gifts for special occasions, thus Cheeky Paperie was developed to take the place of KBK.

What is Cheeky Paperie?
Well, I think I must start by pointing out that it is MUCH more than just stationery! With that said… The name is a special one that represents myself and my love for paper (isn’t it fun!). You can browse my Zazzle shoppe for pre-designed goodies (from stationery, envelopes, and invitations to skateboards, business cards, and t-shirts), or visit my Pixel Lab for treats that you will find nowhere else!

Who is Kris?
That’s me, silly! I own and operate Cheeky Paperie, KBK Connect, and the Zazzler Toolbar. I am the mother of two adorable children (Max and Heaven) and I’m married to a wonderfully supportive man, Jon. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and love way more than I probably should. I love rockabilly and retro styles and I have several tattoos. My life is divided almost equally between my three loves – my family, work, and roller derby. That’s right! I’m a derby dame named Rue La La.
